BURKHARD PLETT IS THE NEW CEO AT BORBET.

During his time at BORBET to date, Mr. Plett has taken on a comprehensive corporate responsibility that has always been geared towards the benefit of our customers and the company. This attitude will remain central to his new position as CEO. "We can rely on Mr. Plett's commitment to innovation and continuous improvement, which will help us to realign ourselves and provide important impetus in the market," emphasizes Margot Borbet.

Over the past three years, Mr. Plett has worked as an independent entrepreneur and has dealt intensively with aluminium projects and especially with casting technologies in the automotive sector. His expertise opens up new and innovative opportunities for BORBET to resume its role as technology leader.

In the future, Ms. Borbet will withdraw from the operational business and concentrate fully on her tasks as Chairman of the BORBET Foundation and Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees.

The company has a positive outlook for the future and I am firmly convinced that we will continue to strengthen our position as an innovative and competitive manufacturer of quality bicycles," says Margot Borbet.
