DR. GÜNTNER IS THE NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR OF BORBET THÜRINGEN GMBH.

Dr Andreas Güntner has taken over the management of BORBET Thüringen GmbH. He has been working in leading positions for various well-known OEM suppliers for 25 years and will now contribute his extensive knowledge of the automotive supplier industry and the wheel business at the Bad Langensalza site.

Dr Güntner was already introduced in August as part of the 20th anniversary celebrations of BORBET Thüringen GmbH, where he was warmly welcomed by employees and business partners.

Mrs Borbet, Managing Director and Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees of BORBET GmbH: "We are convinced that Dr Güntner will continue the success story of BORBET Thüringen GmbH with his expertise and provide new impetus."

BORBET Thüringen GmbH, Europe's largest and most modern production plant for light alloy wheels, is redefining mobility and sustainability. The site in Bad Langensalza has the latest production technologies and an in-house customisation centre. Here, BORBET focuses on innovative insert solutions, among other things, which enable new design aspects in combination with the reduction of wheel weight and aerodynamic drag. Another pioneering technology from BORBET Thüringen GmbH is pad printing, which guarantees precise and durable customisation options. BORBET pad printing is more than just a process - in addition to quality and durability, it epitomises the innovative strength of the "hidden champion" in Bad Langensalza.

BURKHARD PLETT IS THE NEW CEO AT BORBET.

Burkhard Plett has been the new CEO at BORBET since February 1, 2024. Mr. Plett has many years of experience in the international automotive and aluminium industry and already worked successfully at BORBET from 2011 to 2020, most recently as Managing Director Sales OEM at BORBET GmbH.

As part of BORBET Thüringen GmbH's 20th anniversary celebrations, the works council and management organized a raffle with proceeds of €7,000.
